Have you ever wanted to better understand the realities of homelessness in our community?

Join us for a thoughtful conversation around the book Neighbors with No Doors on Wednesday, September 30th at 7:00 PM. 

Together, we'll explore the experiences of people living without stable housing, examine common assumptions about homelessness, and discuss what it looks like to become more compassionate and informed neighbors.

Whether you're new to these conversations or have been serving in the community for years, this book offers an honest and hope-filled perspective that will challenge, encourage, and deepen your understanding.

At Vigilant Hope, we believe that understanding is an important step toward loving our neighbors well. We hope you'll join us as we learn together.

Join One Christian Network for a solution-focused conversation about how people of faith can respond to the housing crisis. From homelessness to workforce housing shortages, many of our neighbors are hurting. Now is the time for the Church to step up and explore creative responses. Join a collaboration of faith community members as we explore specific ways to leverage our personal property and our church properties to “seek the peace of our city” by increasing access to affordable housing.

On Vision Day, we come together as ONE community, looking back at what God has done in the last year and looking forward at our goals for the next year. You’ll hear stories and updates from our team, learn new ways to volunteer with the VH community, and catch up with friends you haven’t seen in a while.

This year we will share how, together, we can Reclaim HOPE as a community and Reclaim HOME in a neighborhood that often gets overlooked. This is a FUN day where we will celebrate, worship, and eat together!

In Subversive Witness, Dominique DuBois Gilliard inspires readers to reimagine how they think about privilege and exercise power. Instead of denying the existence of privilege or feeling incapacitated by it, Christians can learn to wield privilege subversively as an instrument to advance the kingdom and sacrificially love our neighbors, particularly those who have been disenfranchised by the abuse of power.
